Milford Road Culvert Replacement - 2019

Project location:  Milford Road over the Shiawassee River just east of South Fenton Road (east of railroad tracks)

Project description:

• Remove and replace culvert under Milford Road that carries the Shiawassee River
• Resurface road
• New guardrail and pavement markings

Project cost:   $850,000

Contractor:  Zito Construction

Project start: September 16, 2019  September 19, 2019 (moved by the contractor)

Project completion: November 13

Detour:  Yes, residential access will be maintained east of culvert

Detour route: Milford Road to Clyde Road to Hickory Ridge Road to Fenton Road, back to Milford Road and vice versa

Additional Information:  

Milford Road east of Fenton Road in Rose Township to close Sept. 16 Sept. 19  through mid-October late October for culvert removal and replacement (date change by contractor, updated 9/17/19)
