Electronically submitted proposals via www.bidnetdirect.com will be received by the Board of County Road Commissioners of the County of Oakland at its Beverly Hills Office, 31001 Lahser Road, Beverly Hills, Michigan 48025, until 2:30 p.m., local time, Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at which time the submitted electronic bids will be downloaded, opened and posted on www.bidnetdirect.com.

PROJECT No. 56491, 2022 Tree Removals 

A contract for the removal of trees for the following county-wide projects, Elizabeth Lake Road at Teggerdine Road (55331), Elizabeth Lake Road at Oxbow Lake Road (54581), Maloney Bridge over Clear/Long Lake Canal (55514), Pine Valley Way over Rouge River (56194), Hogback Lake Road at GTWRR (56272), Novi Road – 9 to 10 Mile (55051), 10 Mile – Meadowbrook to Haggerty (55601), Mann Road over Sashabaw Creek(56051/56134), Pontiac Trail over Norton Drain (55323), and Cooley Lake Road over Huron River (55503) located in White Lake Township, Oxford Township, Bloomfield Township, Springfield Township, City of Novi, Waterford Township, City of Wixom, and Commerce Township, Oakland County, Michigan.

MDOT prequalification is not required, it is the intention of the Road Commission to award the contract to a contractor fully capable both financially and with previous experience in this type of work.

Plans and/or proposals will be available for download on or after December 21, 2021.  Bid deposit amounts and project description, including approximate materials and quantities for each project are identified in the plans and proposals.

Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or to waive defects and to accept the proposals that in the opinion of the Board are in the best interest of and to the advantage of the Board of County Road Commissioners, of the County of Oakland, Michigan.
