Project Limits: Grange Hall Road to Groveland Road

Project information:
The approximately $5.5 million project is mostly federally funded, with the remaining portion shared by Road Commission for Oakland County, Groveland Township and Oakland County general government (through the Tri-Party program). The project includes:
- Paving 2.39 mile section of gravel road with asphalt
- Placing concrete curbs and gutters
- Installing storm sewers to improve drainage
- Improving the driving sight distance
- Utility relocation starting in 2020
- Tree removal expected to start January 25, 2021 through March 31, 2021 (staging of barricades and signs for the tree removal will start Jan. 11)
Construction start: March 22 (road closure expected April 12)
Anticipated completion: November 5 (approximate)
Road closure: Yes. Closure expected to start April 12 (residential access maintained)
Detour: Grange Hall Road to Jossman Road to Groveland Road, back to Barron Road and vice versa.
