The $1.3 million project is funded through the Michigan Transportation Economic Development Fund (TEDF) which is a combination of state and federal dollars targeted to projects that are intended to support economic development. In this case, the grant was related to a Magna manufacturing facility. The remainder of the cost will be paid for by RCOC.

Detour: Yes, south leg of the South Hill at Grand River Avenue will close to traffic. Eastbound and westbound traffic on Grand River will be maintained.
