Dequindre Road between Burningbush Drive and Utica Road will be reconstructed in 2016.
The $7.7 million project includes:
Reconstruction of Dequindre Road from Burningbush Drive to West Utica Road
Most is currently five lanes & will be reconstructed
Two lane section widened to five lanes
Traffic signal upgrades
Operational improvements of the east/west legs of the Dequindre/South Blvd./Dobry Rd. intersection

Start date: June 20, 2016
End date: Late November
Detour: West Utica Road at Dequindre will close on Friday, September 9, 2016 for approximately 4 weeks. The detour is Dequindre Road to Dorby Road to Ryan Road back to West Utica Road and vice versa. Northbound and southbound Dequindre Road remains open to traffic, one lane in each direction with center left-turn lane.
